POSITION: Customer Service Representative
 
LOCATION: Heartland Region
 
GRADE: To be determined
 
RESPONSIBILITY: The Customer Service Representative delivers effective insurance services to support continued association growth and profitability in the insurance area while limiting association liability to errors and omissions. Incumbent participates as an experienced member of a goal-oriented team delivering high quality customer service in an efficient and timely manner. Incumbent supports the Association VP- Insurance Sales, AVP Insurance Sales, and Insurance Sales Specialists through evaluation of workflow assigned documents for program compliance, research of moderately complex insurance topics, moderately frequent customer contact for policy servicing, data entry into insurance company systems, and assisting with insurance mailings.
 
EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or related business experience.

Minimum 3 years experience performing similar functions.

Appropriate insurance licenses.

Significant knowledge of the insurance industry and all insurance products and services.

Demonstrated ability to generate highly accurate work. Must be proficient in organizing and prioritizing to meet deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Effective persuasive and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in the use of PC, including e-mail, word processing and electronic spreadsheet software.
