POSITION:	Participations Accountant
LOCATION:	Administration -Location is open to consideration depending on the requirements of the position.
GRADE:	9
RESPONSIBILITY:	Processes and completes all aspects of participation accounting; answers inquiries; and initiates written, electronic, and telephone communications with borrowers, lenders and association staff. Participation Accounting, including but not limited to: booking new participation records, processing payments, disbursements and fixed rate rollovers, calculating and reconciling fees, initiating wire and direct note transfers, tracking fixed rate maturities, obtaining pricing for fixed rates, processing rate changes and generating rate change notices for prime and variable rate loans, and monitoring agent account balances.
EXPERIENCE:	High school diploma, plus at least two years of post high school education; or equivalent. At least three years accounting experience. Knowledge and experience with basic bookkeeping procedures. Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work to met deadlines. Exceptional written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills with very high attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in the use of PC, including e-mail, word processing automated accounting applications, and electronic spreadsheet software.
