American AgCredit - Business Application Engineer

POSITION: Business Application Engineer

LOCATION: Administration, Santa Rosa, CA or Wichita, KS

GRADE: Based on experience

RESPONSIBILITY: This position is responsible for providing ECM support and administration including installing and configuring Livelink in production, test, and development environments; migrating data during upgrades and server refresh; installing and configuring modules; database and storage planning; backup and recovery planning; managing users, groups, permissions, and security; design, development, and customization of workflows; and developing LiveReports.


Essential functions:
•Provide architectural, technical and system expertise in Enterprise deployment of an Open Text Electronic Content Management system. Work on all aspects of the system development life cycle including development, testing, documentation and maintenance.
•Migrate existing electronic documents to an Enterprise Content Management system.
•Provide integration between ECM and other enterprise systems.
•Provide system monitoring and tuning
•Workflow design and development using LiveLink’s workflow toolset.
•Development and maintenance of scripts written with OScript and JavaScript as well as other programs written in VB or VC# using the Open Text LAPI interface.
•Providing day-to-day application support and problem resolution relating to the LiveLink production system.
•Debugging and/or optimizing SQL code.
•Writing new customizations with OScript.
•Using VC# or VB to write utilities using the LAPI interface
•Establishing Livelink development standards and best practices

EXPERIENCE: Required:
•BS/BA degree in CS/IT or equivalent combination of education and experience
•3+ years of Open Text Livelink 9.7 development experience, including experience with LAPI, OSCRIPT, and Livelink Builder;
•3+ years of proven experience as an administrator and heavy user of ECM system
Livelink (Content Server) 9.7.1 Server Administration on Windows
oArchive 9.7.1 Server Administration on Windows
oSupport, development and deployment of LiveReports / WebReports
oSupport, development and deployment of Workflows
oCLM Services for SharePoint Administration
oExperience with Open Text Records Manager module
oKofax System Administration

•Proven track record of working in a production support environment.
•3+ years of Visual Studio experience, working with VB.NET and ASP.NET Frameworks 1.1-3.5
•5+ years of experience database development skills, such as familiarity creating and maintaining tables, views, triggers and stored procedures.
•3+ years of experience in SQL Server 2008 development skills.
•IIS 7
•Ability to plan and execute work with minimum guidance.
•Ability to change ideas quickly with new information.
•Knowledge of large application/structured techniques.
•Ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously.
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, ability to multitask, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Desired:
•Open Text Livelink System Administrator or Developer certification
•experience in Oracle development skills using PL/SQL
•experience with LiveLink upgrades
•Knowledge of design and implementation of n-tier applications.
•2+ years of SharePoint experience 2007 / 2010
•3+ years of experience in web development skills such as HTML, JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX and CSS.
